Dan's the Man
If you are reading this, do so knowing that Daniel doesn't like asking for reviews. I had to beg him to accept this one and he doesn't know I am leaving this one publicly on Google.
I met Daniel for the first time at the inspection of the property that we were to purchase. And whilst he was relatively new to the industry, Daniel’s determination and willingness to learn quickly set him apart. If I were to sell a property in Gympie or the surrounding districts, Daniel would be my first choice.
What makes Daniel stand out? First, his local knowledge is unmatched. Having grown up in the district and owning property in the area, Daniel knows the community inside and out. He’s also multi-skilled, with extensive experience in adjacent industries, which gives him a broader perspective. Need a contractor or service provider? Daniel has more local contacts than a Google search and unlike the search engine, his are real and trustworthy.
The property Daniel was selling was as difficult as they come to sell. Substantial and obvious fundamental problems impeding the property’s physical presentation. Super high expectations of price in a corridor where that price couldn't be demonstrated. Coupled with some of the most challenging vendors I’ve encountered, personal circumstances that created little will to sell, and zero funds to assist him in achieving the highest possible price for the property—and yet he prevailed. Through it all, Daniel represented his vendors with dignity and aplomb.
Daniel’s persistence is another standout quality. He wrangled us for over six months to secure our offer, never giving up even when things got complicated. When our deal didn’t go as expected, Daniel didn’t walk away—he doubled down, working even harder to get everything back on track. One moment that stayed with me was having Daniel at the property, after the sale, in his yard gear loading up items left behind by the seller to take to the dump. Just today, one month and four days post-sale he is still invested in rectifying issues with the property that were not corrected pre-settlement. That’s the kind of person he is—someone who goes the extra mile, even after the deal is done and the commission is in the bank.
Above all, Daniel is honest and authentic. He’s not the flashy, polished type of agent who prioritizes appearances. Instead, he’s someone whose word you can trust, who looks you in the eye when he shakes your hand, and who truly cares about his clients. If you value integrity and hard work over slick presentations, then Dan's the man.
